Use a Primer For Your Oily Skin
Use a makeup primer on your forehead, nose and chin. These are your problem areas and have the most oil. This will help your makeup stay on. Make sure to use an oil free and anti shine primer and also clean your face prior to adding your primer. Make sure you use a primer for your eyes that is specifically designed for eyelids. This will create a nice base for eye shadow and liner and will also absorb the oils throughout the day.
Don’t Increase the Oils
Try not to put on a ton of face powder. This can cause your pores to create more oils. Also look for makeup products that are oil-free and that does not clog your pores. Especially in foundations and blushes. You can also look for face cleansers that have glycolic acids to cut down on excess oils your face creates. If you start spot shining during the day you can use blotting papers to lift the extra oil away.
Also think about using a treatment mask once or twice a week to get rid of excess oils. A Dead Sea Mud Mask or a Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing mask would be excellent masks to use to remove these excess oils.
Use Long Lasting Makeup
Remember that not only will oils make your makeup fall off your face but so will water and moisture. So when searching for new makeup look for long lasting or water resistant. Also use an oil free sunscreen and try a light moisturizer that hydrates your skin.
Remember that your pores are creating more oils than your skin needs so everything you do should at least have less oils or be oil free and do not forget the primer. This one tip will help you the most when having oily skin and trying to apply makeup.
